Our proposal aims to establish a community platform offering free tutoring services to students at all degree levels attending the University of Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). This initiative is designed to provide academic support to UPEC students facing challenges with their program modules. By implementing this program, we anticipate a reduction in the student failure rate.
Benefits and Objectives:
Improved Academic Performance: Offering free tutoring sessions to struggling students in various subjects, including Mathematics and other degree-specific modules.
Facilitating intercultural communication to provide diverse perspectives and enhance learning outcomes.
Enhancing the quality of education by promoting better grades across different academic disciplines.
Benefits for Tutors: Providing tutors with complimentary access to sports organizations.
Offering free meals at C.R.O.U.S, helping to alleviate financial burdens.
Issuing recommendation letters as tokens of recognition for their valuable contributions.
Extending support from UPEC's foundation to empower tutors.
Granting access to costly software packages and business reviews, which are typically beyond reach.
Expected Outcomes: Enhanced University Experience by boosting the feeling of being supported and guided, which can lead to higher student satisfaction.
Reducing the sense of isolation and loneliness among students.
Contributing to a positive perception of the university and improving overall student morale.
Decreased Absenteeism by encouraging students to attend classes regularly by offering tutoring and academic assistance, ultimately leading to better attendance rates.
Greater Integration in the Education Process: Promoting a sense of community among students and tutors, fostering stronger bonds and engagement in the educational journey.
In conclusion, our proposal seeks to establish a community platform for free student tutoring at UPEC. This initiative addresses academic difficulties across all degree levels, providing support to students while offering valuable benefits to tutors. By improving academic performance, reducing absenteeism, and enhancing the overall university experience, we aim to create a more inclusive and integrated educational environment.
