Food, an issue of collective deliberation
#CCE2021 Inform, exchange, deliberate
Valuing eco-citizen acts throughout the campus
The idea is to inform students of the results of sorting and the impact of individual eco-citizenship on the campus. There is a lack of displays, communication and information given to students on sorting and its impact. Positive communication should be adopted. For example, give information on the tonnage per year, per site, per type of waste: "you have sorted x tonnes of waste, which has saved/avoided so many x CO2 emissions". This information could be available on site, above the waste bins, via the displays on the various campuses.

Great point about encouraging eco-friendly habits across campus. Small steps like reducing waste and supporting sustainable initiatives can create a big collective impact. For anyone interested in staying informed about local public information, resources like https://fl-arrests.org can also help students stay aware of their surroundings. Integrating awareness and responsibility both environmental and community-oriented—strengthens a positive campus culture.
