Afin de faciliter les échanges avec les élèves étrangers, il est essentiel de mettre en place des étudiants référents afin d'accompagner et de guider les élèves étrangers le long de leur vie étudiante.
Sur un système de parrainage, les élèves référents pourraient aider à faire découvrir aussi bien le campus, la ville que les procédures administratives à suivre. Cela permettrait de créer du lien entre étudiants mais surtout de permettre aux étudiants étrangers d'être mieux intégrer au sein de l'IEP.
Ce service pourrait par la suite s'étendre à tous les nouveaux arrivants à l'IEP afin de faciliter l'échange d'informations.

Il existe déjà plusieurs dispositif qui font la même chose :
- le programme étudiant mentor, qui offre des jobs étudiants avec des missions d'aide aux étudiants étranger. Ce programme est financé par l'université et la région Île de France. Des étudiants de l'EPISEN participent déjà à ce programme.
- le projet Buddy Système, qui est une plateforme de mise en réseau de mentorat pair à pair.
Il faudrait cependant communiquer auprès des étudiants sur ce qui existe déjà et valoriser ces initiatives dans les différentes filières.
