La sensibilisation et la prévention englobent plusieurs domaines tels que la santé sexuelle, les addictions et la santé mentale. Ces actions peuvent être menées à travers des conférences animées par des experts, dans le but de partager des informations souvent négligées. Par exemple, dans le domaine de la santé sexuelle, les avancées dans la prévention et le traitement du VIH ont fait oublier l'existence d'autres IST, parfois plus dangereuses, qui nécessitent une protection adéquate. De même, en ce qui concerne l'addiction au tabac, les divers risques associés sont souvent sous-estimés. D'autres problèmes de santé mentale, comme la dépression, l'anxiété ou encore l'insomnie, sont également trop souvent ignorés.
Pour organiser une session d'information, il suffit de solliciter un spécialiste capable de partager ces connaissances, et de fixer une date. Ce type d'initiative est déjà en place à l'Episen, où des conférences sont régulièrement proposées sur des thèmes divers comme l'écologie, la santé ou l'astronomie.
Il est aussi possible de collaborer avec des associations pour renforcer ces efforts de sensibilisation.
