A few tips that help: place the router in a central spot and put the satellite roughly halfway between the router and the area with weak signal, not at the very edge of coverage. Connect the modem first, power everything on, and let the app guide you through naming the network and creating a strong password. Update the firmware right after setup, change the default admin password, and keep the router away from thick walls, metal shelves and microwaves. The app also makes it easy to check which satellite each device is using, and it helps to restart the system after major updates.
