This sounds like a fantastic project! I love that anyone can help transcribe these journals online. It's a great way to preserve history and make science more accessible. Count me in as a volunteer!

For millions of Arabic speakers, https://alarabictools.com/next-birthday-countdown/ عيد ميلادي (meaning "my birthday") is more than just a date on a calendar — it's a personal milestone marked with family gatherings, gifts, and reflection on the year gone by. Because many people in the Arab world track dates using both the Hijri (Islamic) and Gregorian calendars, knowing exactly when عيد ميلادي falls can get confusing. The Hijri year is about 354 days long, while the Gregorian year runs roughly 365 days, so the two calendars drift apart by around 11 days every year. This is why someone's age in the Hijri calendar often appears higher than their Gregorian age, and why so many people search for accurate tools to convert and track their عيد ميلادي across both systems.
