La place et la vision du genre évolue avec le temps. Cette charte, dont le consentement est demandé aux étudiants, doit s'inscrire dans un processus évolutif restant dans le modèle participatif dans laquelle elle a été rédigée afin ne pas rester figée dans la période de sa création. Cette proposition se traduit par l'instauration chaque année d'une période d'ouverture de la charte permettant à chaque étudiant de soumettre des nouvelles propositions à la charte, si possible avant consentement.
